What are the current age requirements to apply to SEU at Faith Family?

What is the start date for SEU at Faith Family?
For Fall 2025, Southeastern University's academic start date is August 27. The first date on-site will be August 26. For upcoming events, click here.
Is SEU accredited?
Yes. Faith Family Church partners with Southeastern University to offer affordable and competitive degree programs. Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master's, and doctorate degrees.
Do I have to actively serve at Faith Family Church to apply to the program?
SEU at Faith Family offers different ways to earn your degree; some include serving at Faith Family Church. For specific questions regarding serving, please contact our director here.
Is SEU at Faith Family only for individuals who feel called to ministry?
No. Students can choose from a variety of degree programs within ministry or the marketplace. For more information on available degrees, click here.
Is student housing available?
Currently, student housing is not available.
What are practicums?
Practicums are the hands-on ministry learning opportunities available to you. This experiential learning prepares you for the workforce whether ministerial or otherwise. For more information on the areas of study to choose from, click here.
What degree programs are available?
Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL) partners with Faith Family Church to host an instructional site on the church campus and offer students affordable degree programs. See available degree programs here.
Will credits transfer if students have previously earned college credit elsewhere?
Yes. Like all higher education institutions, Southeastern University has specific guidelines on credit transferability. SEU does accept credits from other regionally accredited colleges; however, the transferability of credits depends on multiple factors. Please contact the office of the registrar (registrar@seu.edu) with specific questions.
Can students continue their education with another school after completing SEU at Faith Family?
Yes. SEU at Faith Family graduates may submit their academic transcript(s) to any institution they desire. Each higher education institution sets its own transfer policies. Students should contact the office of the registrar at their prospective institution to determine transferability.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. Scholarships are available to eligible students. For more information about available scholarships contact our director here.
Is Financial Aid available?
Institutional aid through Southeastern University is not available; however, students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA to determine available aid. For more eligibility information, click here.
