What SEU at Faith Family offers is recommended for but not restricted to college-age students.

Yes. Faith Family Church partners with Southeastern University to offer students at SEU at Faith Family affordable degree programs. Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees.
We strongly recommend you actively serve at a local church if you are not serving at Faith Family.
The degree programs that SEU at Faith Family currently offers are based heavily in ministry training. However, you don’t have to be called to a career in ministry. We would advise those who are applying to have a heart geared toward ministry, even if you plan to lead in the marketplace.
Currently, student housing is not available. We encourage you to consider apartments in the area if housing is needed. For housing contacts in the area, please email Michelle Board at maboard@seu.edu for more information.
Sometimes the greatest learning environments are found outside of the classroom. We equip students to succeed in their chosen field through on-site practicum opportunities.
Practicums provide students with hands-on training that allows them to become specialized in a specific area of ministry. Students have multiple areas of study to choose from: Creative Arts (Worship, Social Media, Video, Tech), Generational (Student Ministries, Faith Family Kids), Campus (Campus Development, Online), and Outreach.

Yes. Like all higher education institutions, Southeastern University has specific guidelines on credit acceptance from other colleges. Generally, SEU will accept credits from other regionally accredited colleges; however, the transferability of credits depends on the student’s academic performance in those prior courses as well as the course equivalency into the student’s degree program at SEU. Please contact the Office of the Registrar (registrar@seu.edu) with specific questions pertaining to transfer of credits.
Yes. SEU at Faith Family graduates may submit their academic transcript(s) to any institution they desire in order to determine eligible transfer credits that may be applied in continuing their education at that institution. Each higher education institution sets their own transfer policies, so there is no guarantee that all credits will be accepted everywhere. However, because Southeastern University is regionally accredited, most if not all credits should transfer to other universities without issue, provided the student has successfully completed each course.
